Time for exhaust!

Finally got enough money to get a new exhaust on my car. I've been putting most of my money into cosmetics and externals.

I'm looking for basically as loud as I can get LEGALLY. I don't care for performance, as my car is an automatic v6, and I'm 18 and have limited money.

I was thinking longtube headers, H-Pipe, and SLP Loudmouths. I dont know if brands matter for the headers or h pipe for sound quality so I need help with brands. But definitely want the SLP's.

Now also, will a tune up increase sound quality?

Thanks!

-Steve

One more question. Considering it's an automatic, will that change anything about the sound at all?

I know I can put it into "manual mode" and can control up to 3 gears but, I have a bad feeling doing that all the time for some reason.

Thanks.

-Steve

I definitely like how an H-pipe on a V6, I also agree a tune will help a lot to get the most out of any setup you choose. My suggestion would be look at videos on YouTube to narrow down brands

Time for exhaust!

Sounds like you have a great set up in mind! A tune will definitely help and if you have the money I'd get a cold air intake as well

You can get a catted h pipe made for GT's with long tubes and an exhaust shop can fabricate it together with the rest of your exhaust

Cops won't get under your car to check for cats, it's when you get your car emission tested that they will see your lack there of.
