Basic v6 gauge upgrade

Hey guys, I have a 2010 v6 basic convertible. There was no information Center buttons or the 6 gauge cluster. I checked my wiring harness and there wasn't a connector for the info buttons. I removed a mycolor gauge set, switch and wiring harness from a wrecked 2010 conv. I didn't want to replace the whole dash harness because there were options that I don't have that not sure would connect (radio, hvac ect...) so I repinned my gauge connector from the info switch wires just as they were on the premium harness. When I install the gauges I get the information Center to work, my question is will the my color work or are there other wires that go back to pcm? Maybe once I have the dealership program the cluster the mycolor will allow me to change colors?.?.
