Radio Delete

I'm looking to remove the radio from my 05 V6, but I don't want to leave it an empty space. Does anyone know of a radio delete plate that can be put in it's place? I'm aware of the one sold on americanmuscle.com for using extra gauges, but I'm just looking for a blank plate. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bottom. It'll fill my CD player hole and I'll have my switches in it

If I was doing what you were trying to do and didn't want a radio in the car at all, I would probably get one of those plastic frames for aftermarket stereos. Then get bondo or something and make a smooth finish on the front of it. Then paint it with a few coats of paint, add an emblem or something so it's not plain, and then just screw/snap it in like an aftermarket radio.

That's only thing I can think of or just get an aftermarket radio if yours isn't working right.

Get a double din stereo install kit and epoxy or plasti-weld a textured sheet of plastic behind the kit. It will be flush and look like a factory delete option. You can make it match the rest of the interior.

You could also take the install kit and thin sheet of plastic and have an upholstery shop wrap it in leather and join the two parts.

the radio works; the cd player i was thinking about replacing with a lighted pony, or a charging station, or storage

Nice machined piece but, instead of pending the money here I would put the money towards an after market head unit.
