2005-2010 Mustang V6 engine replacement. Long block or short block?
Ok so I want to buy a Mustang V6 between the years 2005-2010. I'm going to replace the engine with a Ford Racing Engine. What I want to know is, what's the difference between a long block and a crate engine? What do they come with from the factory? I'm looking online at Jegs.com, and I'm trying to figure out what engines would fit in a Mustang V6 without having to replace engine mounts, etc. Basically I want a high performance engine without having to modify everything. I know if I get too much engine, I'll have to replace other parts to handle the strain of the new engine. For now I just want to know what engines I can use.
