A/C Clutch failing?

I think my AC clutch is failing. Starts and stops intermittently. Can here it kicking off/on and feel the air changing temp so pretty sure it is going out. Read that it might be a voltage issue but seems like my voltage is OK per my meter. Anyone else have this issue and how hard to replace? 2005 with 97k miles.

Have you checked your freon level? If it gets too low the clutch will not come on as much. If it gets low enough it won't come on at all.

Yep. It was a little low but it still seems to be doing the same. A little colder but the clutch continues to engage and disengage intermittently. Seems to do it more frequently when idling too.

A/C Clutch failing?

Have you checked the power to the clutch with the circuit loaded/ plugged in? You can back probe it with a t pin or small metal wire. There are cases when you can get a good reading while unplugged/ unloaded . If your are interested in electrical testing videos check out scanner danner on YouTube. It's great info. He also has videos on testing relays as well which might help
