Oil Filter issue

So I did an oil change recently on my 06. After driving it I noticed some leaking oil seeping down the oil filter. My first assumption was that I must have over tightened it. I did the same thing on my boss 302 when I change the oil, I had tightened it too tight and start to leak. So I figured it was a mistake and I got another oil filter to replaced it. Now I know seeing this filter starting to leak. I already checked to make sure there was no other rubber ring from the old filter. This filter I didn't tightened up too tight, just normal hand tight. Do you think the filter could be too loose?

Are you sure it's from the filter and not the housing?

Yeah I pulled off the old ring, so it's not that. I am assuming it's just the filter. Only oil seems to be appearing around the filter. Never had this issue before. Maybe I should tighten it? On my Boss 302 I thought I over tightened it, maybe it's to loose.

tighten it (hand tight + 1/4-1/2 turn)
