My 2005 Mustang V6 88k miles has recently gotten a tick when I accelerate. It gets faster the more the RPMs go up. I'm guessing it's a lifter. It's coming from the passenger side. What do y'all think? Any ideas what it could be?
I had the same problem on my 05 S197 V6 4.0! It turned out to be a broken (rocker arm) on the driver side! Its easy to fix, but you will have to listen the can shaft and lift the can! Hopefully its a richer arm close to the fire wall! You don't want to get involved with an arm closer to the timing chain!
