First Mods

Just added my first mods to my 2011 mustang. I added a Ford Racing strut tower brace, a BBK Cold Air Intake, and a dress up kit.

I think we need pictures! I wanted a 2011 GT but settled for my Roush...

Re: First Mods

I know this is a n00b question, but does a mod like this (as well as others) violate your warranty?

Cold air intakes will not violate your warranty plus they are so easy to install you can swap it back out before you go back to your dealer. Only way they can void your warranty is if they can prove that your installation caused a catastrophic failure of the engine.

Re: First Mods

Sweet!

I went a different way and did the plenum cover as well. Oh and a C&L CAI.

Oh ok thanks...I just didn't know if I would get any looks/grief if/when the dealership saw that under the hood...

It will cause little trouble at the dealer. The only things that I would worry about are if you ever have compression issues like worn rings or valves not seating properly. Other than that you should be good
