| ordering 12 mustang v6. need opinions
I posted this on TMS and got almost no replies
So ill try here: Quote: |

What im curious about is,
1. The optional rear valance, is it a Gt500 valance? Or just normal rear with bigger exhaust gaps?
2. The black billet grill, does any1 have a picture of it? Is it actually BLACK for 2012?
3. What other options should i look at? I love HIDs but itll cost me alot..
4. How much should i expect to pay on one of these? Out the door cost?
This is in Naples Florida, on X-plan. Naples is home to more mustangs than you can imagine, idk how thatll affect knockin down prices.
Keep in mind this is a strict budget.
Also,
Off topic, whats best way to remove tar off a vehicle? What chemical? |
Thanks! I hope to be more active here, more of an... active forum |

Looks good... I just got a 2012 v6 manual black on black cloth( wanted leth)
I got the the performance package that comes with the 3:31 gears, the GT suspension w/19 inch rims. Also I got the security package with the rear sensors (love the rear sensors!!)
If you can get the HID get them.
My plan is to get the all black grill from AM, tint and tune.
The color pic is mine and the other pic is what I want my front end to look like.... BAD ASS
Hope this helps and good luck!

Every1 says the perf pack makes a lot more wheel/body gap, and makes a 4x4 lifted look lol
You think this is true? U compare to a non-PP Stang?

Anywho,
Im looking at having roughly 27 to 28 grand out the door. You think i could stretch HIDs and perf pack for that? I have x plan and a great dealer
Edit:
Truecar value said best offer on that combo in my area was around 26k. Not too bad :p

Yeah I think so. I got the security pack instead of the lights cuz I could always add lights.... Grill... Leth ect later. Buts its all about what you want. I wanted performance and something I didn't have to do too much to.. Make sense?

I would get the car a you want it with whatever package best fits the items you want and then what didn't come with the package upgrade yourself with aftermarket parts. One, you might get that part/s cheaper than the dealer. Two, your going to mod the car anyway and you might end ip going with a different look and if you get those parts as part of the purchase you might be reluctant to do the mod.

| Great looking car!
Also, on a premium, are illuminated door sills standard? On th premium version on the 'build your own' its still an option...
