HID in reflector housing

Has anyone installed HID's in their Mustang? I was wondering if it bothers oncoming traffic because I was just wondering since the car sits low that there wouldn't be any problem.

I have them on an 04 and they're fine, and I have 4500k which are really bright. Never been flashed, just aim them properly.

Re: HID in reflector housing

they work, just are not designed to be used like that, dont work as good as a projector type housing, and blind people

Re: HID in reflector housing

ive seen some retro fitting (taking a projector lens and installing it into the housing) it looks pretty cool just a lot of work~ and NOT cheap... you would figure someone would make a good housing for a HIT bulb with a projection of some kind.. but they dont
