Engine Wake up

I have 2012 v6 per/pkg with MT.... Has any notice when the engine has really broke in?

2012 Mustang 3.7L, 6MT, Performance Package, Black On Black, 3.31 Gears, Deleted Mufflers, CAI AirAid, BAMA Tuner 91H

1969 Mustang Coupe w/331 Stroker, 4.11 gears, x-Pipe with Spin techs

I hear that it is after 2000 miles things like gas mileage will get better, (it did on my GT) and better performance too.

I am around 2,700 miles in, and it feels noticeably better now than when I bought it with 14 miles on it

mostly its ready to go when you pick it up on the lot, Ford already breaks it in. If it puts your mind at ease drive it normal no super hard driving (a little is fine) until the first oil change.
