What's your question exactly? It will still do the same kinds of things for a MT, just not as much as an auto.

Benefits (MT and AT):

1. more aggressive timing = greater power
2. better throttle response = quicker
3. supposedly better fuel efficiency
4. different tunes optimized for fuel octane

AT only:
5. stays in gears longer
6. firmer shift points

Honestly, I probably wouldn't have gotten a tune if I had a MT and had 3.31 gears that could be programmed without the tune. Main reason I wanted it, other than correcting for my 3.73 gears, was to get rid of the puny low RPM shifting of the AT.

+1 thank you... I'm looking for people that have gotten a tune for the MT. I know it will give you everything you said but you also stated that you wouldn't of gotten one due to the MT like it's not worth it.

That's just because the car has plenty of power for me. If a tune were still covered under warranty, it'd be a no-brainer to get one. IMO, the biggest pro is adjusting shifts. And you don't need a tune for gears like I did.

If it's a DD, and you live in a city, I can't blame anyone for wanting an AT. If it's a weekend car, or you live outside of the city...you better get a MT!
