I just got this from a BAMA calibrator who has been working with me to fine tune my, well, tunes. If you have a BAMA tune or really ANY tune with an SCT tuner, it might be worth investigating:

We can definitely use these datalogs to update your tunes, but right now we are waiting to hear back from SCT on several issues pertaining to the 11+ V6s. They’re reviewing some of the background information for tuning in their software right now to make sure cars are performing the commands issued in the tunes, so once they update their software we’ll move forward and update your tunes. I apologize for the delay, but in looking at the datalogs it looks like your air/fuel and spark are correct aside from wide open throttle driving. SCT’s update should address this, and as soon as we are notified of the updates I’ll send a new tune for you to datalog with to make sure the car goes into optimum performance mode when we command it to. If you have any other questions, please email back or call us at 8882269764. Thank you and have a great day!

If you haven't datalogged your tune, you might want to do that and send it off to your calibrator to evaluate. Apparently, my computer is not appropriately recognizing WOT; so, we're trying to get things figured out.

I did ask if it would hurt to run my current tune, and BAMA said no. Just don't go WOT.

I was going to order the tuner too... I'll hold off a little bit and wait to see what happens

It apparently only affects certain computer PCM codes. For example, mine is PVG2.

Call your tuner and ask them if your PCM is affected. Odds are that it probably isn't.

I can't wait!!! I've been reading forums for a good couple of months now trying to figure out what to do. I ask for the 91H I can't wait. Keep me posted and I'll let you know to. :)

I got my new tune emailed to me on Tuesday, and Jim of BAMA called me to talk about it and ask me to do some datalogging, but I forgot to ask him if that meant that the SCT issue was figured out.

I am actually emailing him about that now.

Hey I just got my 2011 mustang V6.. it is a certified used vehicle which means I have a 6 yr/ 100,000 mile warranty with it. My question is if I use my tuner and I need something to be covered under warranty can I just put my factory settings back on, where the dealer would not know I tuned the vehicle?

You got a used Mustang with a better warranty than the factory? Nice job.

Wife is driving it right now so I have no driving impressions or datalogs. No new firmware from SCT so it's still unclear if that supposed issue was fixed. Need to datalog.
