HID/Security package

Ordering V6 Premium on Monday and was looking for feedback on the HID headlights? If you have them - do you like, and were they worth it?
(yeah I know nothing like waiting to last minute)- long story...
Thanks

I got that same package. Love the look of the HIDs. Give the car a more sinister look in my opinion. Personally, I don't care for the regular headlights

Re: HID/Security package

Thanks. I def like they way they look on the car better. What I was really wondering is how are they when driving at night. Had a set previously on an S2000, and while visibility was amazing, every car going the other way flipped their high beams at me

The are awesome at night. Outstanding visibility. And when you turn on the high beams, they really lightup the road.

Re: HID/Security package

Thanks. You both helped me decide. For sure I am getting them. Hope to wrap up order tomorrow. It is a long story, but I can't wait to get my v6 on the way!

Re: HID/Security package

if the non HID packet has a projection style lens its far cheaper to just buy aftermarket HIDs as I did with my wife's 2011 Edge, but I do not believe the Mustang has this ability so I personally would add the option.

Made sure to order with the HID. Hope to have my VIN in a week. The short version is that I work in NYC, and home is now in NC. Plan on heading into the dealer in Fayetteville, NC when I am home for Thanksgiving to make sure I have all the paperwork in my hands

I bought mine at All American Ford in Hackensack NJ. And got a great deal I work in NYC as well. You might want to get a quote form NC and they will beat it. My Cousin works for ford and said AMF is the largest ford dealer in the North East.
