Essentially, you were getting about a 2010 GT (power-wise) for the price of the V6. Tough to beat!
2011 v6 also has 305 hp, 280 torque. Love it. 2010 GT power all the way in v6 price tag

Yeah, you get more torque with the 2010 GT but eat it on gas mileage.

True more torque 325 on Gt 2010. If good driver in the 10 Gt maybe 1 to 2/10 sec ahead of 11 v6. All the power of the Gt with a six price tag. 2010 Gt 315 hp

Autos lose more power through the drivetrain, its about a 20% power loss with an auto and 15% with a manual.

But with people out there missing gears and not shifting when the perfect shift point occurs, the automatic is the way to go when it comes to1/4 mile track racing. Automatic shifts perfect every time so the 5 % loss is made up and some by taking out human error.
