Not sure about the V8 but the new V6 engine is rated at 305 horse power.

The 5.0 has like 412 I believe? Not 100% positive but its somewhere around there. But the new engines didn't come out until 2011 and he has a 2010, which they were putting the 4.0 and 4.6 in still.

Not to be rude, but have you been under a rock? The retro looking Camaro has been around for almost 3 years now. The 2005-2010 mustang v6 has a 4.0 liter engine putting out 210 hp 240 torque at the crank.

The body style of the Mustang 2010 + is the same overall and will have slight changes to the front end and rearend in 2013

What slight changes? As in the whole front/back end? Or just headlights and tailights?

2013 front end will look like the 2011/2012 gt500 for all models, rear end tail lights are slightly different. The rest of the car is about the same

Not much of a difference. If you can afford it, step up into a 11 or 12. The v6 has true dual exhaust and 305 hp

What is your goal for your 10? What type of hp you looking to get? It may cost you more money to get your 10 up around 300 hp than just selling your 10 and buying a 12. Just depends on what type of hp you looking to achieve.

No doubt you can get there but the big question is? What's it going to cost and is it cost effective to upgrade. 80 hp is a lot of hp to make up unless your going to buy a super charger for it. But a super charger may run 5 to 6 grand with the installation.

I've looked at the super charges nd I've noticed they are not very cheap... Lol but u see the thing is if I put other things in I would have to put in more to match that super charger and it would eventually probably add up to the cost of a supercharger right?

Wait a year or so and see if you can get a used '11 maybe? Have you seen the interiors of the 2010+? They made quite a significant improvement there as well.

I believe so. The main difference between 2010 and the 2011-2012 models is the engine and transmission.

That's what I had figured. How much horsepower does the v6 2012 have? And torque?

Yep, 2012 is almost identical to the 2011, which is why I went with the 0% interest and rebates when I bought mine back in May

Essentially, you were getting about a 2010 GT (power-wise) for the price of the V6. Tough to beat!

Turbo?

I think that's probably about it. I don't know anything about the whole bore or "stroked" discussion, but I would imagine that costs a fair amount of money too.

The tune seems to do a lot for the performance, and it'll probably be enough that you won't be disappointed. Just my two cents.
