Tail Light / Highmount Covers

Hey everyone I have a '12 in Kona Blue and I'm thinking about something to make my tail lights and high mount a bit darker, but not too much that I'm going to get ticketed a ton. Just a smoked cover or something.
Any ideas?
Also looking for super simple install and nothing that will come loose in the cold!!!

Thanks! Kind of wanted black more but I see a lot of black ones in town and only one other Kona so I am enjoying it! Black rims to come in the summer!

That's not bad, nice to not have a monotonous stang! In my town there isn't but 2 or 3 2012 ponys, one is a ruby red v6 and the other is a grabber blue 5.0.

By the way a cheaper solution to black rims, check out plasti dip if you haven't heard of it, that's what I did to mine (and alot of other people on here have)

I've been reading up a bit on plasti-dip but I'm not sure how to put it on! Can you give me some instruction haha I'm terrified of messing it up!

Haha it's all good cuz if you mess up you peel it off and start it over

I bought about 6 cans from home depot (they come in aerosol cans about 5.98 a can) then if your gonna do wheels I recommend taking them off the car because you don't want the dip to get in the brakes. Shake the can well and about 6-10 inches away start spraying in nice even strokes, it kinda works itself out because each layer settles into the last layer you put on. I did 6 layers on each rim

Hope this helps! If you got any questions I'll be glad to help

Just read your in Canada so the price might be a lil higher.

Wow so helpful, I really appreciate all the info!
How long do you wait between coats? How well will the plasti-dip fair with removal and installation of new tires? I have winter tires on right now....

Not a problem, glad I could help!

I was in direct sun so about 10 minutes between coats, and the plasti dip should do just fine switching tires unless you scrape it or something lol but if you do just peel it off like tape and redo it it somewhat protects what ever is underneath 2
