I just bought my first Mustang. It's the 2012 V6
(black) and I was wondering if anyone has had any issues so far with the latch handles for the convertible top. When I received the car, I immediately noticed upon taking the top down that the driver's side latch was getting stuck on the tab that's supposed to grab it (it kept hitting the tab from the top rather than resting underneath like it's supposed to). After a few times pushing REALLY hard to get it to latch properly, I took it back to the dealer and they realigned it for me. They're currently ordering new latch handles as well, since the driver's side handle became stripped due to all the forcing. But even after their realignment, now the PASSENGER side latch handle sounds like it's scratching something when I latch the top down. To clarify, the convertible top DOES latch properly now after the dealer's realignment, but the latch handle on the passenger side does not feel quite right and makes a noise when latching it that the driver's side handle does not make (it latches real smooth on the driver's side now). Anyone had any issues with these? Does it just need to settle over time since everything is sort of new and tight, or will this get worse and harder to manage?
Thanks for any help.
