Grilles

Know there is a way for gt's to get a mod to fit a v6 grille, but what about the other way around? How can I get grilles made for a gt on my 6r?

You would have to just buy a V6 grille with fogs. And for a GT, buy a GT grille without the fog lights.

AmericanMuscle.com has all of this stuff

Not really sure if there's an easy solution to that...personally I'm looking to modify my front end in the spring so im going to get a gt front bumper which will then obviously fit a gt grille...

I'm not just wanting the gt grille. There's the 6 bar billet grille, the Saleen grille, and roush grille I would like to have but will only fit a gt. does the gt front end fit ours or would we have to modify it

I was thinking the same thing. I've even seen grilles for the gt with hidden fog lamps. I guess I need to start looking for a parted out mustang to take its front facia

Re: Grilles

I have a 6er with a GT front bumper. The V6 font bumper is one whole piece, while the GT has the main body as one piece and the grill as another piece that clips on. The only way I can think of on fitting a GT grill with fogs on a V6 bumper would be to trim the outside part of the GT grill and maybe glue it or bolt it on to the V6 bumper. Maybe add some bondo, sand it, and paint it black to make it look seamless. I'm sure you can find yourself a GT grill on ebay for dirt cheap. That way you can mess around with it.

I'm not wanting the fog lamp grille. I want the ability to use the aftermarket gt grilles on my v6. From the sounds of it I need to buy a gt front bumper and then the grille of my choosing

As far as I know yes that's how it must be done. If anyone else cares to enlighten us that this may not be the case please feel free to chime in

Or since the saleen is built off a gt frame maybe I'll just go with the saleen front end. Looks so sexy
