Re: Mustang > Camero

I agree... even though I am still a Chevy guy at heart... my v6 mustang can run with my 71 Chevelle 396, no joke... Mustang's just seem to put the power down better, and are definitely lighter...

I think the interior looks too fake as well... like it's out of a video game or something...

I test drove the new camaros v6 and ss and even tho they drove pretty nice and were pretty quick , the fit and finish was horrible. Everything in The car was plastic and cheap. They both had less than 100 miles on them and were rattling and creeking on the inside. And also had the worst blind spots I have ever seen. You might as well remove the rear view mirror.

agreed. but when well equipped with some modifications they look pretty bad ***. The european version has some cool led tail lights to compensate for requiring amber turn signals in europe. Still not as nice as the sequential lights on our stangs. Then there is the interior...yuck.

There are two base stock yellow camaros at my work....they stand out in a bad way. i think they are crying for attention.

the best way to insult a camaro driver? spell it camero....kudos to the original poster i will use that

The Mustang will always dominate over the camaro.. the Mustang was built with a soul, bred for competition, and hungers for the road. The camaro is a failed rival to that challenge, a base of avarice and survival in the automotive industry, a step down. Not built with a dream in mind and a passionate heart, The camaro will never amount to the Mustang.

I say we go to all the Chevy dealers in an area, test drive a camaro with a salesman, take said salesman to predestined place, create a circle with the camaros to form an arena, and have them battle to the death with little kid gladiator toys..

Muhahahahaha!

Re: Mustang > Camero

I test drove a 2011...I'm not sure what out in Vegas. I'd assume it would be the v6 convertible. BEAUTIFUL CAR. Not as roomy as my 94 v6.

Now Friday the heater hose went out...so I decided to rent a camaro (<$40 a day)
v6 as well. Much more room in the Camaro inside. However the height of my head touching the top is much closer in the camaro.

I received several compliments on drive thru adventures....if that even counts.

I went to the dealership to test drive one...and got no one to even say hello to me. that pisses me off to no extreme.

a v6 pony...I'm not sure if it will make the cut next time.

The Camaro looks great to me. It was my top choice 2 years ago when I first started thinking about a new car. That was back when the 2010 Camaro was eating the 2010 Mustang for breakfast. Don't be a fanboy (or girl), 2010 was Camaro > Mustang. 2011 changed all that though. After the interior styling update in 2010 and powertrain update in 2011, Mustang was the easy choice for me.

Camaros are still head turners though. I just don't want to own one. The interiors are a disaster!

Re: Mustang > Camero

thats not always been the case.. how soon we forget about the Ls1 vs the weak 2v 4.6L... even the 4v 4.6 N/A had a struggle with a stock LS1....
