Whatever car you can better afford is the one to choose. If you can afford it, get the GT. Personally, it would've been irresponsible for me to get the GT when the V6 offers so much at such a great price.

Re: New guy here

I hear the real life gas mileage isnt much different from the new 6 to 8, but 305hp is already too much for me, 412 is just suicide! Not to mention the insurance would be a little higher. My insurance is pretty cheap because I'm a homeowner, but everyone who knows I'm getting a mustang..."whoa how can you afford the insurance...." owning your own home and having a clean driving record does alot for you. I was scared to even ask what the 8 would cost though, The agent was like....so this is a mustang LX or GT? ...LX? Lol

I think it should be a law......you can't have over 400hp until you have 20 years clean driving.

Nothing beats the sound of a v8 though. Well, a v12. In an aston martin. Some day, some day......

Holy f***

Looks great! Did you paint the center console yourself? Your dash trim is out...any plans for that? As lame as it is since its not functional....would you consider carbon fibre panels? Itd look hot with the red

Ah yep i see the dash now...damn very cool. The interior upgrade pckg adds so much to the car...but you sure made the base interior sweet. It looks like an alienware pc lol let us know what paint you used and your procedure.

I used duplicolor perfect match automotive paint, its for nick and chip repair and trim and accessories, taking out the pieces wasnt as hard as i though it would be only thing that caught me up was the airbag, which has 2 bolts in the glove box, once out i cleaned them with warm soapy water to get off the black magic protectant, then i veryyyyyy lightly sanded the pieces with fine grit just enough that made the surface rough but not to look jacked up, i aplied about 4 very light coats to avoid running and let it sit out over night, was thinking about clear coat but decided not too, and thats about it just took my time and made it look right, ooo but i had some paint remover on hand just incase best stuff i ever used lol i had sprayed my tailights too dark the first time so i used it and it took it all off in about 15 minutes
