Re: New Member.. My 12' Grabber Blue V6 Project

Yeah, I want those wheels. I went with the pony package because those are the only stock wheels I like...but those are gorgeous...they must be at least 20" no? What's the brake setup for those saleens? Can you send us a link to your thread and start a new one? Your stealing the original posters thunder (you still got a ton dude your ride is sweet)

Edit: googled it....20", rotors are 12.4 up front 11.8 rear. Snap.

Apoc...let's convert our stangs to saleens and be total posers.

Re: New Member.. My 12' Grabber Blue V6 Project

Sorry, didn't mean to steal his thunder, I like his car as well... I've been in
love with grabber blue from the first day I saw my friends 69 GT500 that's
grabber blue with white stripes... I'm toying with getting a grabber blue
2013 Boss 302 in place of my other Saleen.

The wheels are 20's, my car also has the Saleen/Stoptech 14 inch brakes in the front.
I thought my 99 with Hawk HPS's stopped until I got this car...

Ap0cLFC, I see your car has NY plates, I'm next door in Jersey, maybe we'll run into each other
sooner or later. We had 3 grabber blue's at a cruise night at Englishtown last year...

Lol!
Umm I haven't seen them yet for the cyclones, but I know I can get them for my mom's s197. And if i can't find them for my car I will modify them so Ivan take them off at night so I can see the deer flying into my windshield lol!

I got those emblems. I haven't installed them yet b/c it hasn't been nice enough here to wash it! But they are just cheap plastic... nothing special. I got mine on ebay for $20.

I've thought about the fender emblems but I kinda like the clean look. They would look good just not sure if I'd like to do them. Also been debating on getting some kinda stripes or something on my car too, but again I do like the clean look. So we'll see.

---------- Post added at 11:40 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:36 AM ----------

Also been thinking of a new front fascia. Most likely the GT front because it's cheapest and I do like the look. But I have been looking at the steeda front which is different and you don't see on many cars at all. Just a bit pricey..

Yikes! I like the GT look too but I don't like looking like a GT when I don't have a GT you know? I got the hood spears graphics and it looks sick! I want to get something on the side too but i want something no one has seen yet... so I'm still brainstorming on that one.

Not that I'm trying to imitate a GT. Just happens to be the cheapest option if I'm going to upgrade my front. That's if I do.. As of right now I won't but maybe in the future.. Also you have any pics posted of your car?

IMO as long as you don't put GT emblems and tell people it's a GT, then its still your own design. I thing the Gt upgrades would look BA on both your cars.

You have a point there! I will wait for later in life when I can afford a real GT b/c i have fallen in love with the idea of a clean smooth front end! And maybe project Grab-Her will eventually become a GT killer!

Ya my v6 has pretty much every GT bumper grille/fogs I also have a gt500 exhaust that I customized to fit mine.
Where I live(las Vegas) there is quite a bit of mustangs on the road, I still have yet to see anybody have anything close to my mods. Make it your own.

Yeah, that's what great about mustangs. There's so much you can do to them to make it your own, different from anyone else. Unless its completely stock, I rarely if ever see two alike.
