Shieeeeeeeet, 2K+ is crazy highway driving. I'm more worried about the catastrophic failure of my wallet as these gas prices keep going up!

Re: mph in a 3.7

If the rest of the people out there knew how to drive, im sure we could have much higher speeds in north america. It sucks really. 5 percent of this generation consider themselves car enthusiasts. Its why i have to come to great forums like this one to enjoy car talk.

I agree speeding is no longer socially acceptable. But if you like cars, you like speed. The majority treat cars as appliances though and drive that way too. Any of us on this forum could easily handle 130 mph but say you're on a highway and some jackass in a corolla decides to go in your fast lane at 75, and not lane check.....there goes your beautiful car and easily your beautiful life. You can't hate the cops for enforcing speed limits.

That speedo is an exaggeration though....on my test drive i found it sort of at my cruising speed on highway and the needle is barely really is provoking you to go faster........cant blame any of you :p

I'll be honest, it was a straight road near my house that rarely has any traffic. Nothing but fields on both sides. One time thing just had to see what the car has ya know. Lol
