$120 is about what, 1 1/2 hours work @ going rates where I am so a little steep & easy to do yourself, so save the $.

That sounds about right, they flag their hours.not install and then pay, there Is a certain number of hours it will take for this process and it's a flat rate.shouldn't be to hard to do yourself

Do it yourself or find someone who will do it for about half that, I still don't think I would shell out $60 though. Even if you're not very mechanically inclined, just take your time and make it a morning project. It's almost impossible to mess up.

I'm sure that you can do it yourself. Just watch a couple of videos on YouTube or something to give yourself a heads up how it is actually done and the tools you will need. Should be very basic tools. Then you'll have a bada$$ sounding mustang and you'll be turning heads, and you'll be able to pat yourself on the back and feel better knowing you did for free what someone else would've charged you $125. And when I do my own work I feel a much stronger sense of pride.

Do you have floor jacks and jack stands? Do you have basic tools? If no to either of these, do you know people who do? If you answered no to any of those questions, you now have to factor the price of tools into your cost comparison.

I just deleted my mufflers yesterday. I did it in the parking lot of auto zone! Lol I did buy exhaust hangers from them so it wasn't like I just pulled in to do the job. But to the point. I didn't need to put my car in the air at all... and Im 215lbs! Its tight... but doable

If you say so! I am a big dude and looked at getting under there, and I didn't see any room to work. How'd you like taking out the stock mufflers? Curse any?

Bad. ***. What is great is that below 1.75-2 rpm's it sounds like stock... but get her out on the highway and punch it.... IMO it sounds better than that over priced Gt-R from across the pacific. Then when you get it in sixth and cruising at 65-70 MPH you can barely hear the hum. Turn on the radio about a quarter volume and you can't even hear it!

The ONLY thing I don't like is that I now have 2 cutouts where pipes should be in my bumper. :S

WARNING! on the front of the mufflers: the drivers side is held on by 3 bolts but the other side is only held on by 2! I crushed my finger yesterday b/c I thought i had 1 more to go! Also take the bolt that goes straight up out first! Saves some headache
