Now that the 2013's have rolled out, does anybody have one to tell us if the taillights can be put onto the 11-12's without any modifactions?

Without any modification? No. They are shaped different then the current tails. IF they are compatible you would need the rear bumper at least. Here's a pic of my 12 and the 13. You can see the tails are a slightly different shape.

if you look the rear bumper is lined differently and comes up higher right below the tail lights vs the 10-12. With the rear bumper they may work but without it there will be a gap.

I do wish they were though because it's one of the only things I like on the 13. Hopefully some company would make a replica plug and play kit for the 10-12.

Man where have you been! You don't know about the changes? lol. New body style, can order with recaros (anyone know if that's leather or cloth or either?) HID headlights are standard I believe, the new tails, select shift auto, and some computer stuff that tells 0-60, 1/4mile times and stuff like that. Am i missing anything?? But I can live without all those Love my 12.

They are nice, but I think the taillights on our cars are fine. Especially when tinted. I know you've got yours tinted and think they look great man! I'm going to be getting mine painted pretty soon. And I love how they look at night !

well they did it for our tailights on the 05-09 models it might happen

Youre on the right track apoc. HIDs are standard, 8 more hp in the GTs, no longer oil squirters in the GT and yea cloth or leather recaros, your choice. Also side skirts are now body color

I was going to order a 2013 in december...but after all the rebates and 0 percent financing at the time...i ordered one of the last 12's available for custom order....saved about $8000...and still got the hids :p

Idk if y'all remember when the 2010's came out, they made a plug in for us 05-09 that replicated the newer taillights but fit our body style. They sell them on AM and I think some black GT on here has them. So don't worry about the fit im sure there will be a plug in kit that replicates the 13 but fits all before! Just my 2 cents

They are plug & Play, and I don't find the gap too troublesome. I probably will get a 2013 rear bumper later, but for now I am quite please. They took 10 minutes to install.

Ebay! Got them for $800.00 for the pair. Expensive to be sure, but a lot cheaper than buying a new car! My dealer told me that thier cost is $640 per side

Sweet man. Yea I saw on another forum they run about 1300 from the dealer. From the looks of it you have a boss l/s I'd love to see more pictures of it if u have some!

Actually, it is a 2011 GT that I created a Boss 302 in June of 2010. I decided to make a 1970 Boss, before Ford even mentioned it!

I was suprised when they annouced they were doing the Boss again, but even more surprised when the 2013 had the same stripe I added back in 2010!

I think it looks better then the 13 boss. Nice job. What's under the hood? Anything special? Tail lights look great but I couldn't live with a gap like that. I don't think the stock 10-12 tails are that bad and love my raxiom tails. Anyways, nice car!

Thanks! The car has been tuned, and has a Roush exhaust. It dynoed on premium at 427 at the rear wheels with all the little tweaks.

I am planning on a new 2013 bumper, but the dealer still has no pricing yet. I am also thinking of changing my stripes to reflective black, as my striper now has that available.

There are no electronics in the bumper. All the tail light electronics are sealed into the lamp, so no worrys here.

That looks sick! Are you planning to get a '13 rear bumper to fill the gap?

Not Sure yet. The gap doesn't really bother me, and I prefer the look of the 2011 bumper

The taillights are arguably the only thing I'm jealous of '13 owners and I figured the "gap" would be silly looking. It doesn't appear so at all. When you look up close, does it look off or like something isn't right?

It doesn't really bother me, and at the show, nobody noticed. Plus having a black car, it blends in. I think on a lighter color it may be more objectionable
