TB Spacer?

Hi everyone! I'm new to the board and have my first question: Are throttle body spacers worth it on the 3.7?

Back in the day I had a V6 Dakota and recall those things being regarded as paper weights, but then those engines already had plenty of low-end torque thanks to very long intake runners. I'm thinking that maybe a little extra volume in the 3.7 might help a tad with its low end torque...But am wondering if the slightly greater effective runner length will make any difference for a hundred bucks. Anyone try one?

100 bucks is two tanks of gas. Dont drive anywhere that you dont have to for two weeks to justify that 100 bucks then let us know if they work or not. Lol

Re: TB Spacer?

I have an Airraid PowerRaid throttle body spacer currently installed on my Stang. Honestly, I can't say for sure whether there is any difference between with and without it. I am also running a C&L CAI and the noticeable difference was only when I installed the CAI. I added the TB spacer after the CAI and the difference, if any, was negligible from a "seat-of-the-pants" perspective.

If you have extra $ lying around put that 100 towards a 73mm BBK throttle body.
