New Here

What's up fellow awesome mustang owners? I've had my 2011 v6 for almost 2 years now. It's my first car and the most amazing thing I have ever driven. It's a gray premium edition, you can see some pictures my friend took of it here in southern California in my album. It's completely stock except for my little American flag on the back antenna that adds to the Awesome American muscle pride I have for it. So I just wanted to make a post to say hi. And if anyone wants to give me any advice on any first time mods, I'll be happy to hear.

Well handling was never on my mind. Cosmetic wise I only ever thought about maybe adding those window vents but I already love the look. Unfortunately living in So Cal the only power I utilize is going from red light to red light occasionally speeding and getting past slow drivers haha. So I think power wise I might wait a while. So maybe a new sound, even tho the stock is pretty good.

Re: New Here

Nice ride and great camera work! Im gonna have an exhaust ready to install the day my warranty expires. I love the stock one but it could be a tad louder and deeper sounding. How about a gt500 style wing like mine? Alot of guys on here are getting those

Go to www.americanmuscle.com and prepare to spend your paycheck on it

Yes you are right grabberblue5.0. These have a great sound and are definitely much deeper then the stock mufflers. Definitely not obnoxious but you will definitely stand out. I personally love the sound around 2-3 grand. Very deep. And with them being the cheapest axle backs on the market you can't beat the price. If you happy with the stock exhaust you will definitely love these way more. Let me know if you have any questions about it OP.

Look for used too. Honestly, it makes no sense to pay new, retail prices for any of these mufflers.

A bama tune is the best first mod! Believe it or not it will actually extend the life of your trans if you have an auto. It makes the shifts much firmer. If your looking for sound go with some roush axlebacks. Used if you can find them. Best sounding IMHO.

Being as they are new to the market wouldn't they be hard to find used for a new car?

What? Force 2s? No idea what model that is, but I am talking about exhaust in general. A lot of the axle backs sound the same/similar that I would go with a deal over a model. You can find them from guys who are going catback and want to sell their V6 mufflers.
