Your lucky lol I have the drivers Ed discount on mine and student discount for college. Around where I'm from that's automatic reckless driving. Mostly noise violations and speeding are done. Cops and troopers usually go for 12 over and ten if they are really wanting to. Just from experience.

My mothers 2010 camaro is 600 a year. She is 45 and one ticket and it was finally in that car. The mustangs are generally higher.

The 200 a month doesn't feel so good some days. My old stang was around 70 or 80 a month and I was 16 in a manual. It was liability though being as it was a 02 and we paid it all off with a check.(rare find)

28, married with a house, pay full coverage on my 12 v6 and my wifes 09 Jetta. $137/month.

It went up a whopping $40/year from going from a civic.

20. Married. 2 kids. About 170 a month. Before I got married last year it was over 350 a month after I had a fender bender in my first car.

Wow I forgot how much it cost to insure a car at a younger age and single... I'm 42 married 3 kids and no tickets and I live in NY. I have a 2012 V6 mustang, my wife has a 2011 VW Jetta and I also have a 2009 Buell Firebolt XB12R and I'm paying about $165 a month for all three full coverage on all with $250/$250 deductibles.

It also helps when your with the same insurance company since you were 17 years old. Yeah been with Erie insurance exchange for the past 25 years. There have been many companies wanting me to switch but only state farm got close, but they were still off by $200 a year.

I know thats a lot, but being a 23 year old male probably has something to do with it....
Also Maryland supposively has really high rates to begin with.
i'm 16, but thankfully the car is in my dad's name.
My dad is in his 40s and the insurance rate still comes out to $673 every 6 months :/ and I live in bama

Omg I am so jealous! Your 6 month = my 1 month. I'm gonna cry. I could use my insurance money to buy a supercharger.

Re: Auto Insurance Rates

I'm 27, one wreck (totalled) under my belt a little over 2 years ago. No tickets or anything. I'm paying about $107 a month for my Mustang with just comprehensive coverage on my Grand Prix (it's been under the knife for a few months, so no need for collision coverage).

Re: Auto Insurance Rates

My rates are a but higher than most since i had a previous claim from an act of God, a hail storm. Since I had a huge amount of damage, even though it wasn't my fault, I still don't get good rates. Ironically its all about numbers and cost. Before this no tickets or accidents in over 20 years.

$253/month
Full coverage 07 focus, 04 gt, 03 cobra vert, 90 lx vert
Should drop here soon when my wife's ticket drops off.

Btw, gt is more expensive than cobra. Difference between 02 v6 and 03 cobra was $20/month when I was 21

Haha when I say that im with Erie insurance most people haven't even heard of it. My parents have been with them for everything, house, boat, cars for 20-30 years. I'm 17 with a 99 v6 camaro and the 97 GT and I'm at $320 a month with nearly full coverage, so I'm not complaining, I've just got to get rid of this camaro so it will go back down

I'm 17 in VA and my insurance is only $680 a year through statefarm for full coverage. But I've also done behind the wheel and drivers ed as well as a driver improvement course that took it down a big chunk, plus I get a good student discount which cut like $300 off. My motorcycle insurance on the other hand is $120 a month...

33 years old, no accidents/tickets, etc. Got a quote from geico on 2014 v6 for about 80 or so a month with 500 deductible on full coverage in DFW area.

Auto Insurance Rates

I'm sure I'm about to make everyone in here feel a whole lot better about their rates....I pay $250/month in LA. 1 ticket on my record and 0 accidents. This was the sole reason I didn't get a GT:'(
