Yet another gears thread

Hey, I'm sorry for starting another gear thread. But I went to the dealer today to install 3.73 gears on my 2011 auto stang. The dealer asked me if I do highway driving, I do but not that much. If I install it would my mustang become slower on the highway? Or in what way is it bad?

Rpms will be higher my 1995 had 3.08's and ran 1600 at 60mph now it does 2200 with 3.73 not too bad

That's exactly what the dealer said. Other than fuel lower fuel efficiency. Any disadvantages at running at higher rpms?

If you read some of the other gear threads, youd find that youll lose a few mpgs on the highway (depending on what youre coming from) but gain some in the city and shouldnt affect your top speed.
