So, the difference between 2012 and 2013

I'm driving a 2011 v6. But I wonder the difference between 2012 v6 and 2013v6. Except the body kit and the led light, any other difference?

Hid's are now standard too

This could very well be the last retro styled mustang. 2015 is supposed to look like the evos concept

That really makes me sad. there's alot of new strict laws in cali outlawing performance cars especially muscle cars

Re: So, the difference between 2012 and 2013

if you think about it, it goes back to my earlier rant I had.

2012 was a killer GT/v6 combo
2013 brings out a new style
2014 is going to be the 50th Anniversary
2015 will be the end of the mustang styling as we know it.

Ford is spreading out their buyers and making them choose. Hmmm do I want a bad ass GT now, a new body style'd 13', or do I want to wait for a 50th anniversary... hmmm

I just wish they could put the new interior features in the 2011's or 12's. I like the new 13 but I prefer my 2011. But hids would be nice.

I can definitely see some 2013 interior ending up inside my 2011.

Re: So, the difference between 2012 and 2013

Well I just test drove a 2013 that had 30 miles on it and the improvements aren't nearly enough to make me sell off my 11 for it. I don't know that anyone had considered going from a 11-12 to a 13 but IMO not worth it at all. very nice car though don't get me wrong.

Wait for the 50th anniversary edition unless Ford really messes it up then I'll be getting a 13 in a few years

As long as it's not limited production I would say none at all.

Regardless its different because they have never stopped producing mustangs. And even IF they do it won't be Lon lasting, they'll only do it in the beginning just to get the people that want it reallllly bad to pay more. I refuse to ever pay adm... EVER

The thing i don't get is people forget that the s197 cars are the only 'retro' styled mustangs. its always been a forward design thinking car. personally, im ready for mustang to modernize a bunch. it will still have that mustang dna don't worry about it.

Same. When the 2010 Camaros came out, they were all pre-orders. That was also when the economy tanked, and a bunch of people had to walk away from them. Government Motors and their affiliated dealerships realized that they actually had a vehicle in demand and marked the available ones up like crazy. Here in Atlanta, only one Chevy dealership would even consider selling it for STICKER!

I was a big Camaro fan back then. Loved the look and never really cared for the previous generation Mustangs. As a High Schooler, it seemed like the V6 Mustang was the default car for white trash girls. The pre-2011 V6s made embarrassing power, and the Camaro was the first respectable V6 pony car.

But like you, I refuse to overpay like that.

Then came the 2011 Mustang. And I waited until the deals were flowing. No more Honda Accord for me

Now, if the 50th Anniversary just blows me away, I suppose I might have to sweet talk the Mrs into not killing me to trade...we'll see.

I think the market might just shift. Whereas some Mustang fans might be opposed, a new design might bring in another market segment. And you know Ford is going to do its research to bring a design that will ultimately have mass appeal.

Just might not appeal to me.

I have already made it clear to the world that I will get one of these when they come out so no one (meaning my girlfriend) will say anything to me when I buy one haha.

Unless I feel that ford totally screws up the 2015, in which case I will pick up a '14 with some awesome rebates

Got a '13 b/c I want to mod the hell out of it whereas a '14 Id feel guilty not keeping it stock with all the 50th badging and dunno what a '15 will look like. Think Ill wait & see, pay off the '13 & buy a used GT500 or SE 15+ down the road for track.

P.S. TrackApps is the main reason I went '13 over a '12.
