Mustang clud of america grille

Want to add the MCA grille to my v6. Does anyone know where I can get one without buying the whole package?

I'm trying to go with a boss look alike but without the gt bumper cover. It's like a false advertisement. And so far the bullitt grilles look ugly and cheesy but the MCA looks perfect for what I'm doing.

That's what I'm looking for. Minus the big pony and clean up the front. Thanks for the pictures. Was it a pain to install?

Re: Mustang clud of america grille

I think your idea will look great. I hate the gt bumper....alot. Call me crazy, the v6 one looks btr imo.

Fyi the california special grille is chrome, mca is a matte silver. I ordered the mca grille when i placed the order in for my car. They didnt want to tint my windows because of all the rebates i got so i said this grille would finish the deal. Its called "dark stainless billet" it can be found in the accessories section of the 2011 and 2012 mustang brochure, but of course dont buy from dealer. Here are some shots of my grille

Crazy!! Jk, I almost went with the GT front but last minute, I just couldn't give up my V6 front. I like it too much. I still like the GT front but i'd rather put that money elsewhere.

No its is really easy there are some tabs that hold the grill in just use 2 screwdrivers to push them out and then the grille will just come out be careful not to break those tabs though your other grille will just snap in.

Good. Cause at American muscle you had to cut the stock grille to get it to fit. And I'm just going to keep the v6 bumper and get fog lights installed. I want it to look like a boss but without false labeling it. And that also avoids those kids in the Hondas trying to race me lol

If you want the boss look you'll need the boss front and boss grille. Boss doesn't use the MCA grille it has it's own

Edit: Nevermind, forgot you didn't want the GT bumper. How about getting a billitt grille then adding the pony emblem in the middle? They're only like $100? on AM. Emblem couldn't cost that much.

The spacing of their billet grilles looks cheesy to me. It's too many little rods when the MCA is less and cleaner. Plus it'll be different. Nothing like a lime green car with red rims, but something subtle.

Looks good. And I'm not a fan of the billet grilles either just figured I'd throw ya another option

I will say, the one thing I don't like about the MCA grille is that it doesn't have a matching lower grille. Thats the one reason I didn't go for it :/ If it had a matching lower, I would probably get it.

Re: Mustang clud of america grille

I think the matching lower grille makes it look too much like a truck. I also agree the AM copies of the billet style grilles are too spaced out. The pic you posted looks great i just hope you dont have the boss 302 lettering anywhere!

If you are really desperate for the grille the ford dealer will have it. Here in Canada the dealer told me it was worth $300

I wouldn't want a lower matching one. It would be too flashy with fog lights. If anything I would put boss 226 on it. But I'm thinking just do the C stripe and hood. do they sell like a piece to make the roof black? I've saw it on a few but never knew where. I think every mustang should have a black roof in my opinion.

I used the California special grille for the upper and the black billet lower from am. Really happy with the result.

Not bad. I'd like to see someone paint or plasti-dip that grille black.

Re: Mustang clud of america grille

Mine has the new upper and lower MCA grille...but thanks to the mid oreder fobar of the performance wheels changine to gray...they are giving me a set of the California Special upper and lower grilles. Once I change the wheels to satin black...they will look better...bolder gray than the mca wheels alone.
