What was your first mod

Just wondering what's yall's first mod was to your car
So far I've just put on the quarter window louvers, led dome lights, headlight splitters and two 12" white racing stripes. Next I plan on converting it to a dual exhaust, get a cold air intake and tune it after.

Look on the brightside, if you have an '11+, you already have the 8.8"!
You 3.7 guys have a lot going for you.

And, I REALLY like the white stripes on the grabber..

Re: What was your first mod

My first mod were the 3.73 gears, but I also had it tinted the very next day. A few weeks later, she was tuned, and about a month after that, I got a CAI. Then it was quiet for a while, and I got a lower billet grille for Christmas. Last mod was Magnaflow Comp axlebacks in February.

How was the difference between stock and the 3.73 gears? They are on my list once my suspension stuff gets put on.

My first mod for my first car (02 v6 mustang) was true duel exhaust and a cai. For my 2011 it was a black deck lid and light tint for the back end.

The C&L intake, Magnaflow cat-backs, and billet grille were all done within a week of eachother. The hurst short throw was installed in January. Big changes to come soon I will post a new thread when it all goes down!

Definitely worth it but you have to do headlights and fog lights or else it doesn't look complete but hids have always been my favorite appearance mod on a mustang

Re: What was your first mod

What should be my first suspension mod on 06 4.0 pony package? It's my daily driver, lil over 57k miles, with stock 17" wheels and 235/55 uniroyals. Budgets around $500. Want to improve drivability without losing ride quality. Thanks

Well that'll give it much of the gt handling characteristics without sacrificing much of any ride. Sway bars won't be a bad way to go either but if you start gettin into too much chassis stiffening you will notice a harsher ride. I recommend newtakeoff.com to pick up some of those gt parts. Really cheap stuff with relatively low miles on it
