350z is a rather quick car. Gonna be a fun race.

I know I can out run one with my '02 GT mild bolt ons, 4.10s, and DRs. And I've also out ran the newer v6s.. The Z seemed to pull from a dig a bit harder but the v6 stang had better top end accel.

Honestly the new sixers have very similar HP/tq as a Z. Just really depends on the driver and the weight difference I think.

Is it stock? Believe a stock 350Z does around a 14.0+/- on the 1/4 as an average. Which is right about where we are stock.

I have driven a 350Z before, Do yourself a favor, don't wager, if you do have to wager, then just wager on a gas tank of gas.

Re: 350z vs 2011 v6

07-08 Zs run mid 13's but average is 14.0s or slower. The V6 Mustangs seem to run similar times so it would be close.

Re: 350z vs 2011 v6

I know a kid back home who has a convertible 350Z, not sure what year. He also has one of those ridiculous vanity plates that says "ZUL8R"... Nice enough kid, but that makes me shake my head.

Haven't tried racing him, but I am already in the hole just with my own body weight in the car...

Re: 350z vs 2011 v6

350Z isn't THAT light. It is light for what it is, but not exactly LIGHT. 3200 lbs at its lightest on an 03 Track Z. Otherwise around 300.

Re: 350z vs 2011 v6

If I stayed with a Z and I just barely beat you by 1/2 a car. It should be a damn good race with you and the Z. Plus you said you were right on that black Z's door you raced before me. I think whoever gets the jump will have the win. The specs on both cars are really similar. Cant wait!! :O
lol
