No turbo yet on that car. He is running a Procharger - but not on pump gas for that pass. The turbo setup is still under development

Not according to what Hector told me the other night. I specifically asked him if he had the turbo out for testing. He said it was the Procharger and the turbo isn't quite ready for testing yet.

So what's that in the video then? It ain't a procharger.. I'm on my phone with a small screen but it looks like a turbo on there to me. The vid says turbo and even the comments he makes below. But I guess if your in contact with them directly then I guess that's best and guess the vids fake?

All I can tell you is what Hector said when I asked him. Procharger does look like a turbo (essentially a centri blower is simply a belt driven turbo).

That second video though isn't the 11.1 pass so that may be the confusion. I just looked at it and it may be a shake down test of the turbo, but it ran 12's. The 11 second passes he got are on the Procharger. Which is what the first video, or the 11 second pass, says.

The second video does say turbo, that's what I said. But that isn't the 11 second pass. The turbo pass is in the 12's. At the end of the video they show the 12.48 slip.

The 11.11 pass, which is the quickest pass and the quickest 3.7 to date, is with the Procharger, not the turbo. And that video says it is the Procharger as well - and is the one I asked Hector about because the one I saw wasn't the You Tube with the title showing the Procharger.

Heard he was gonna go out and try to get it in the 10's. Haven't seen anything though. I'm curious to see how far these 6's can be pushed.

Sorry but it looks like a turbo. Unless its a different type of procharger. Since ours is on the passenger side.

Guys -- there are TWO different videos and TWO different cars involved.

The Yellow car, first video is the one that ran 11.11 and it has the Procharger.

The Blue car, second video and inlcuded in silverbullet's picture is not the car that ran 11's. It is the turbo mule test car and ran mid 12's so far.

Two videos, two cars, and the procharger is the quicker of the two---------so far. The turbo will be quicker once they dial in the set up.

The confusing part started with the first post and then saying it was the turbo running the 11's though.

The thread title starts the mislead because it says it is the 11 second pass and I admit I didn't read it carefully to see that the edit said that the second video was the turbo test. Went by the thread title and suggestion in the first couple of posts that it was the turbo running 11's.

I've tried to clarify -- again 2 different cars, 2 different systems. Hector did say he wasn't testing the turbo yet though, but obviously he has managed to sneak it out for some lab work in the blue car. My mistake was not clicking the links to you tube and I made an assumption it was the same thing already posted just different views. It wasn't until I clicked the second link, saw it was a blue car and realized that it wasn't the 11 second pass being shown. If you watch the second video to the end he shows the time slip on that pass for the turbo shake down test, and it is a 12.48.

BUT - the 11's are with the Procharger and not with the turbo.

I hear ya. I saw the 11sec vid then after saw the link to the turbo vid and thought I'd post it up as well. I know a lot of people are interested in that but didn't want to make another thread..

It is interesting thought that just days before Hector said "not ready to test the turbo out yet" and so I am surprised to see a test run on it.

Once they dial that in and get the set up figured out should be very interesting.

I've been in contact with him following as much as I can on the turbo since I am considering that option for my 2013 (which should be here mid June). Depending upon what they come up with I may decide to forego my project and pick up his with all the R&D done.

Let us know how it goes man. Definitely more potential with the turbo. You know how much boost he's running on that yellow one? And what kinda #'s he's putting down?

Is a turbo kit better than a super charger kit? Which would make the car faster and help preserve the engine life of the two?

Turbo. More power, less wear. Can't go wrong with a supercharger though.
