Anyway Fulton get tinted windows you won't regret it. I love my tint. I'm at 20% but anywhere between 35 and 20 is nice. Cost wise $150 at a good shop.
I plan on it! We're moving out to Marietta early June; so, hopefully it'll be easier for me to get out.

Definitely easier. Moving OTP watch out it's scary out in the berbs, just kidding. Cobb county is much better than Dekalb.

Yeah, DeKalb is home of the high prices, high crime.

That's how I feel. I love Dunwoody, and would live there if it wasn't Dekalb. the highlands isn't far from Marietta.

I don't think 35% is too dark. Don't think you'd have a problem, although I don't know how law enforcement is in your area. 35% is legal here in NY. I got 50% on mine only because I'm not crazy about super dark windows.

When we look at buying a house, we'll either go Decatur or Marietta likely. I work in Dunwoody and like the area, but you're still bracketed by Gwinnett and then the whole sprawl north of 400. Traffic is a bear!

I want to get darker, but when my dad had his Mustang back in the 90s he got ticketed for it having too dark... I'm not sure the actual % it was though, they have probably lightened up cause I have seen some people with decently tinted windows.

I have a tan interior. So no matter how dark you'll still see in. That's something anyone should look into. I can have the same tint as the car next to me. But his may appear darker because of his interior.

I heard the whole "light interior" line of reasoning from my tint shop. It doesn't play out in real life. Here in ATL, I was stopped by a Dunwoody cop who had a tint measuring device (slides over your window) and a DeKalb cop who had the same. It isn't just an eyeball test. These guys are actually measuring the amount of light transmitted...

I love dark windows too, but it's a risk you'll have to decide that you want to take. Don't be surprised if you get pulled over, and they can pull you over just for tint. But best of luck to you if you go dark!

Re: new mods!

you can...or I can do it for $100 and that includes the paint. Takes from 8am right to 5 for a decent job. Normally charge $150...but for fellow Mustang people, i'll do a deal. That gets me more business. Got to paint a camaro's brakes pijnk for a lady when this stinking weather finally clears. Silver RS with pink rally stripes and emblems...told her the brakes would finish the look...

Haven't heard of that. Plasti-dip was $7, I got 2 cans. Works ok. It's not perfect, but you have to eye ball it to find imperfections.

Re: new mods!

have somewhat same problem with the VHT.....but 2nd wheel was a bit better...whic I why I always start with the passenger side to iron the kinks out. But the duplicolor green on the brakes worked out wonderfully!

---------- Post added at 06:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:37 PM ----------

I really enjoyed painting these brakes.....took just over half a can on the front twin piston calipers...but was easy to touch up where I missed with a touch up brush and some paint in a spray can lid...

Thanks. And yes I used plasti-dip. It's been through the car wash with no problems. It bubbles occasionally, so I just cut/peel it and respray.

Re: new mods!

errrr.....never had that problem with the VHT...and ive used it on customer cars wheels before. The red car in background of signature is my tuner/fuel sipping Corolla...and its wheels have been painted for a month now and no damage as yet from chips, road fling of sand and such. (Knocking on wood as I type..LOL)
