Exhaust opinions

I'm looking to make my 2011 "boss" breathe better and sound deeper. It's a v6 and I'm asking anyone that has exhaust on their car to share what they have and price.

There's a bunch of threads on this already but.. I've got magnaflow competitions. Very deep down low, with a more exotic sound imo up high. It's loud and it drones on the highway. I love the drone btw. You can still listen to music and whatever though. I love my magnaflow but I've never heard any other exhaust in person on a 3.7. So I can't say it's the best.

Re: Exhaust opinions

I have Roush Axelbacks and like them a lot. Sound is deepening with time, too.

I've thought about magnaflow because I heard them on a v6 and I couldn't believe that these things can sound like a v8. I've heard exhaust clips before but every single one pops and that really doesn't do any good. I want the car to be quiet when coming up to people on the road but when you pass them a v8 rumble? Idk if that's possible or if you guys get what I'm saying. Basically like a sleeper till your up on it.

Street is the mellowed down version. Someone on here has them. Maybe he'll budge in. I've heard them in some youtube vids and thought they sounded really good.

And you have the quad tips. They look good with your back end. Did you have to do any modification the the bumper cut outs?

Yeah, it comes with a template on where to cut on your valence. I had a body shop do the work though. I don't have any tools or place to do it.

Sounds like me with paint actually. We were gonna decal it then decided just let a body shop do it. How loud is the drone in the car and with the windows down. And where did you get them? Sorry if it's a lot of questions lol

There's drone. I love it though. If you got the windows up you can listen to music and phone or whatever though. I believe I got them on Jegs but they have them on AM now I believe.

Well I pulled the plug today went to an exhaust shop today. They ordered me some magna flow dual cat backs and I just gotta wait on the roush rear valence to get in from AM then gonna turn my 2010 from a single exhaust to a dual exhaust. Gonna be my first performance upgrade pretty excited lol

I love drone. It's the main reason I want exhaust. If you want it quiet in the inside then leave it stock. How much does jegs run?

Haha yes thank you! Everyone always complains they don't want drone. We have Mustangs. I wana hear it! And I believe it was around the same price as AM. AM didn't have them when I bought them though. Plus the AM discount would make em a bit cheaper.

I was about to say how cool it would be to run the people on these forums such as yourself. Then I saw you lived up in the north.

Then again it is mustang week. And you can't have a mustang week when you show up in a Prius. When is it?
