Re: front and back after market sensors..

never installed any before.....they are an option on the 2013s...but I passed on that. They do work and beep louder when you get closer to something but gets annoying after a while. I feel you on the size of the car vs. what everyone else drives....they have matchbox cars...and you have a hot wheels..LOL!

My dad has some on his truck. I feel like they really don't help you park your car, and I was using a big truck. They aren't worth the money IMO.

Re: front and back after market sensors..

Check out www.americanmuscle.com there are some kits for front and rear sensors. Ford had a rearview option that has a small lcd in the mirror and a backup camera..this would probably help you alot im sure you can find something like it in the aftermarket

haha! true story!! but yeah I passed them up on mine too, but after a few trips around out here in europe I'm wondering if i should have bought them.

and the ones on americanmuscle.com are the ones i have been looking at...trying to get ideas about how helpful and worthwhile they are. I mean even parking in parking garages is rough, most of the times i have to have someone to jump out and guide around the turns. stupid matchbox cars! hahaha!

Re: front and back after market sensors..

I hear ya. It may be more $ but a rear view camera would probably help you more than sensors. It also wouldnt require the ugly sensors all across your bumper.

Big respect to you for rocking a stang in europe, thats really cool.

Re: front and back after market sensors..

I'll have to look into them. Ordering the parts to over here is whats going to be rough. the places i find that will ship to APO/FPO addresses are expensive.
And thanks, she gets a lot of attention out here!
I took her on the autobahn the day i picked her up hit the governor 5 mins later....it was depressing. Im thinking about swapping out the driveshaft and getting a tuner to adjust it but im not sure if i want to void out my warranty just yet...
