O I was driving home from work today and a 2011-12 gt pulls up next to me and has the same exterior items as myself, both black, matte black stripes and same louvers. Now that I know another mustang in my area is similar, I need to change and or add something to the exterior; any recommendations?

I hate when this happens! I have the one and only grabber blue mustang in my town of 12000 and now my friend is trying to get a grabber 5.0!!!! I'm Soooooo pissed!

So aggravating. Lol. I'm thinking of getting the Saleen front end, love the way it looks, wanna remove the badging so that way people won't think I'm trying to turn it into something it's not.

If you really want to make it stand out... Body Work, get stripes that not many people have, new hood ect.

B6 mod for mod will never beat a v8 with the same mods so unless the other guy is going to stay stock good luck

Yes that u can though to be honest the from bumper on the gt looks nicer and then there's the v8 sound

Phooey.....they can beat me everywhere and at races....and all the way to the gas pump. BUT I like my six, and that was what I ordered in this baby. 305 hp..well make that 313 after the cai install.....I could take your vert down.......and in 200 more miles of break in.....id love to try....(evil laugh ensues)

Yeah till I put mods in mine and next summer it will be super charged as well as other goodies so I'd like to see it beat me on that XD also it's heavier then my fox even with the conv and I already make more torque lol with a supercharger I should see close to 360-38 rwhp and torque so now lol

Well bigger engine means more gains from bolt ons so I don't think ull win against my car in a bold on war just like I can't win against a ws6 or a ls engine but I still love the v6 n miss the one I had

nah...not interested in beating anyone unless they cant do the math on what I have under the hood. If Id wanted power...id have scrounged for the additional 13k for the Boss in my color. But a brand new Stang in a really outlandish color with a cool 305 HP is pretty darn awesome in itself....just saying.
I'm happy......and the V8 folks can just kiss it. Ill be laughing at the gas pumps by December when the price goes back up after the election (in case anyone hasnt figured out why its on the way down....wink, wink, nudge, nudge!)

Then why are u talking about modding the engine if u are happy with the hp it comes with? Also my v8 gets good gas mileage XD

only a CAI and flowmasters...total performance add ons im gonna get. Carbon fiber ram air hood with heat extractors are on next years agenda...proven to add 15 hp. That will give me..let see if science and math work this late....about 30 over what im pushing...and that will be just fine

What do the V6's get on mileage? I get 27 highway I dont remember town I think @20 99 Cobra. The V6's have come a long way in power gains. Just remember it has not been too long since I V8's had 200- 250 hp

What year was it? My first mustang was a 2000 v6 and I miss it. It was hard to trade it in, especially cause the dealer only gave me $1500 for it.

Hey Whitelightning.....that rubbing compound I said I use is the 3M Perfect It 2....and now about 22 a bottle....but works wonders
hoping ill never need to use it on slimer.......but with our contant changes in weather and drivers with bad habits....errr, who knows.
