Lets get technical

My last visual upgrade before I work on the performance end is lights. I want factory or the raxiom hid lights. But I have halogen running lights. And I am getting fog lights at the end of the month. Can they be wired as my drl? And the hid not. (plus they won't run as hid)

Re: Lets get technical

I'm sure it's possible with knowledge and/or experience in this area. Just to clear something up though, in case you weren't sure- The Raxiom headlights are not HID. If you are only doing this with the end result being HID, you only have one option based upon your first post. The OEM option will either require a lot of money or for you to be very fortunate and find and find an uneducated person selling them used.

No. Not those annoying things. Those are hid in the wrong housings. It's the bulb reflected off the halogen lens. Those are idiots. I'm talking about the legit oem kind. You can literally stare into them from 6 inches away and probably suffer not that much eye trauma. They give a crisper, cleaner light. Not that blue or white light. Look up the stig. His are what I'm aiming for.

Hes considering factory oem hid like mine...its in a proper projector housing and doesnt blind people. They have less glare than your stock lights

Unlike fake kid hids that put xenon bulbs in regular housings, these have a clear cutoff line, all the light points to the road, not other drivers eyes.

Re: Lets get technical

I have read that they are, but I do not have DRL so I have not had a reason to look into this aspect. Reviews I have read suggest its fairly simple though.

That's where it gets technical. How to disable the drl and if possible make the fog lights the drl. I don't wanna cut anything if I don't have to.
