| appearance mods...
So i have had my Sterling Gray Metallic 2011 V6 Premium w/ MCA pkg for almost 4 months now and I'm looking into what i could buy for her. The thing is, i really like the MCA pkg and don't want to change it up too much. The wheels and grill are def. staying. here were a few thoughts, just looking for opinions here guys..
tinted tailights & side markers
lower grille (to somewhat match MCA upper if possible)
mirror covers
also considering scoops, but not sure which ones and def. don't want to over do it. i really like the quarter louvers and the side scoops, but not sure if they would go with the MCA stripe.. i was actually considering getting them in flat black to match the flat black stripe, but not exactly sure where it will fall in reference to the striping...
any and all ideas welcome guys!

mirror covers would be a good way to go as well as the other choices you mentioned.
Lowering it would help but you dont want to go to low and that could void part of the warranty and cause other such issuse.
You may could get away with an axle back.

You may could get away with an axle back. | Heard about someone who had a ford mechanic install ford lowering springs and kept his warranty because ford installed them

Technically they don't have to continue covering affected parts because it didn't come from the factory that way, regardless of who made and installed the modification.

You can get a lower grill to match the MCA one from American Muscle. And I def recommend modifying the exhaust. It will make a world of difference.

What about the spear stripes? On the hood
Or some new smoked headlight and taillight tint, headlight splitters look cool too

The white ones. I have the white rocker stripes so any other color would look weird. I thought about getting a super snake style stripe, but decided I like the look of the small spears. They kinda look like fangs.

Personally I'd do paint.

I probably should get them painted on, but the decals are a lot cheaper.

The spear stripes are guaranteed for 8 years I think. Not sure about full sized stripes.

You can tell up close the difference between paint and decals, given if the decal is done right it looks great but paint is the best and most long lasting.

Unless you have a black mustang and are going for the "murdered out" look, it doesn't all have to match. These are not contiguous pieces.

domer....a friend of mine is going to be using my grilles as templates when I take them off for more modding. He wants to make actual stainless and powder coat black MCA/ Cali spec. look grilles and make to fit from the 2005 up both upper and lower. We might try for a pony grill with the fogs from the 07-09s and make one for the 2010-2013. Can't figure out why someone hasnt offered one before now......along with being able to relocate that giant tribar pony to the center.....sigh

I also like that it's on the driver's side
Grilles sound like they'll be sick though!

We believe there will be a market for them (along with a few other tricks up our sleeve..) Trying for invent a better job than slaving over a clod mop at the fire station...LOL!
I didnt like the Shelby connotation with the off center pony. Keep an eye on my pics.....my big front end change is coming. After that and a set of flowmaster axle backs...i'll be done on mods...and money to do it with......sigh ---------- Post added at 07:57 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:56 AM ---------- drat..meant COLD mop...too much coffee..

A boss grille for a v6 is nice, but the grille idea seems legit. I'd buy it.
