Strut bar with the performance package

Hey gang.....really want to paint this baby green with black mounts at the struts to work with the strut covers I want to get.
How hard is this to remove...or is this a bad idea....bad enough for me to have to paint with it in place....?
Let me know....ready to go either way...

I'd advise not to. Could get paint on other stuff you don't want. They just bolt on. Mine did.

I pulled mine off the last set I did. I'm just a picky OCD person. The less chance of over spray the better.

Re: Strut bar with the performance package

I was just joking about spraying away. Although since you end up painting everything green...

Re: Strut bar with the performance package

I don't mean anything by my jokes. It's actually a very cool color and not many will have the balls to get that one. It's a unique color so why not make it even more unique.

I'd buy it or red. Not a lot of red around here. I love out there colors. It's kinda why I painted the basic white with te boss mock up. If I wanted to blend I'd get a Honda or something. I think I'm going to reference that saying. " what you don't like the color of money" lol

Re: Strut bar with the performance package

feel free to share it......nobody here understands my getting away from the blue colors I had for years. Have a Barcelona Red Corolla S tricked out, now the 2013 in GHIG.....
thinking of parking the 2 side by side in the driveway at Christmas with the green and red led undercar lighting im gonna do and have them flash alternately....that will be my decorations for the season...LOL!

Re: Strut bar with the performance package

grabber blue or the charcoal grey were going to be alternates this year.......
even found a leftover MCA convertible in Grabber blue.....but after 9 months on their lot...they were still wanting to be greedy...havent sold it yet. their loss...

---------- Post added at 08:43 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:41 AM ----------

still chuckling at the choice of GHIG......especially since JLT, CJ pony parts, AM, ford Racing, and one or 2 others bouth one or more to trick out......LOL! It might not be as rare of a color as the lava red from last year...but should come in between it and the sunburst gold from 2010 in production....
