Appearance and engine mods in Atlanta

Hey guys brand new to the forums and to mustangs as I just got my car a couple months ago. I was wondering if anyone knew of any places in Atlanta where I can get a good deal on things like window louvers, spoiler, CAI, or exhausts? Or am I better off getting these things online like at americanmuscle or another site? Thanks for the help!

Online from American Muscle is the best place. Late Model Restoration is also good!

Welcome! Looks like you bought yours at Sandy Springs Ford. Where in Atlanta are you? I'm in the Alpharetta/Roswell area.

And there are quite a few of us in the area always looking for other owners.

I thought online would be better as well. I went to Sandy Springs Ford today to see what their prices were for parts and they were more expensive for unpainted parts then American Muscle for the same painted parts.

I'm over in Dunwoody. Just moved to Atlanta not too long ago.

Larry Day is their go-to mod guy at SS. He put my gears in and did a great job for a reasonable price. Want to have him tune it later too.

Yeah when I was at SS yesterday they told me to talk to Larry and that he now has his own shop called LD's Performance over in Woodstock. He's no longer working at SS.

He has had his own shop, but he doesn't work there anymore...at all? Interesting. One of the really appealing things about going to SS and having Larry do the work was that you got that Ford seal of approval from a performance installer. Not sure they would honor everything the same way...

Maybe I misheard the lady working there. She made it sound like he's not there but I checked out his website and looks like he's still working at SS. So having someone like him install performance parts keeps you in good standing warranty wise?

Well, for my gears, it added a 1 year/12,000 mile warranty. If you have him tune it, I think you'll be in better shape if warranty questions arise.

tousleyfordparts.com for any OEM parts, for other stuff online probably will be cheaper for parts, check the sponsor section and they also give discounts sometimes for forum members.

You need to find a good shop that you TRUST to do the work you cant do on your own. Not gonna be much help in ATL, but I know a good shop near Birmingham (Odenville, AL) SVPU - Special Vehicle Products Unlimited

Try kurgan motorsports in braselton, it's right behind the BBS building next to road Atlanta. They are mustang pros and the ones who are going to install my super charger and suspension as well as do tuning.
