If you can't figure out what color to paint that strut bar you can always "CHROME it"

yuck...no chrome. its gonna be green with black mounts. I'll paint it right on the car....plenty of covers and towels in my brake painting kit.

Defiantly! And then I'll add "for a fee I can do the same to yours!" Lol i think I can do it a lot quicker now that I've done mine! Did you know that our front calipers are twin piston?

Re: removal of performance package strut bar...?

yep...theyve been twins since the 99 restyle. What makes them a bear to prep and paint. The corvette monster twins are the worst and take almost a whole can each for a good look. Yep...see you can do that in your area. I have clients in my area and growing. Everybody here always thought powder coating was the way to go.....too darn expensive. For $150-190 (or 220 for vettes) I can get almost any color or an exact match to their paint job. What paint did you end up using..the VHT or the duplicolor?

Re: removal of performance package strut bar...?

LOL! Took slimer for a warm up ride tonight....sucks without the side views on it...had to stay in my lane. Guy in a black 2007 pony pkj has green side and hood striping that match my calipers...wants me to do his. Looks like I got another brake job to do on thursday next. Gee I love this stuff. Between Fulton, myself and several others..we have a serious trend going.......im hoping I get more jobs in custom colors....its a lot of fun!
