Would headlight tints look good ?

I was thinking about putting a tints on my headlights to make it look slightly darker. Any any ideas or thoughts ?

Re: Would headlight tints look good ?

Yes they would look good... until you need to use them.

Be careful of thus because you will definitely notice a reduction in nightime visability. I wouldn't even consider this until you have some fog lights to help get some of the light output back. Even then it won't bring it all back because the fog lights don't have the distance that the headlights have. If you don't do much night driving then go for it.

True you will also have to go up a notch on your bulbs.

Re: Would headlight tints look good ?

check out my pics. I have the headlight covers from AM. Your ride is similar to mine. They look good if you ask me.

I agree with a reduction in nighttime visibility...plus, make sure your local law enforcement doesnt have any ordinance on how dark they can be. many are getting that on the books these days....including the jurisdiction I work in...

If you buy the covers and they stop you you can just take them off if you get caught again then you will get a ticket

I take mine off at night. Go for the covers instead of the tint.

My 94 had tinted lights when I bought it and hated it. Couldn't see anything at night.

The only thing you have to remember is that ofcourse tint, if not done right, will bubble or suffer from wear and tear quickly. But covers from AM, ive seen on some cars, they seem okay. On a red mustang i would go with a slight tint though. Just my opinion
