Re: Is anyone running FORD RACING mufflers ???

Here the cops have a van that comes out with a decibel meter to check your car or motorcycle out with... and a laser to check to see just how dark your window tint is...Or they measure the ride height of your bumpers to see if you are not too high or to low...the list goes on and on... The result if you do not "measure up" is your ride gets towed and impounded until the vehicle is both released from impound ($30.00 a day storage and always a $200.00 tow) towed out of impoundment (another $200.00) to an "authorized" repair station"...and the "problem resolved (like having a brand new stock exhaust system re-installed) Then you still have to have it re-inspected ($$$) and then, go to court and pay all the fines.

A simple thing like loud exhaust...could....force you to abandon your car because it costs more to fix than it is worth.

Nope...it isn't worth all the pain.

Re: Is anyone running FORD RACING mufflers ???

It's not so bad here in Daytona, I just don't like a repulsively loud car. I like the deeper rumble of the cars I had in the past that were not loud but had a really good sound. A mustang needs to sound like a Mustang and not a Toyota Prius. That is why I changed my mufflers. These Magnaflow Streets are just perfect and when you get yours you will see what i'm talking about.I was under the assumption you were getting Flowmasters but I see you ordered the Magnaflows.

The worst part of putting the new mufflers on was cutting the factory weld on the stock mufflers. I just can't believe how nice my new magnaflows fit and look. Of course you know from all of my posts I love the sound.
