Will these wheels fit?

I have the 17", charcoal bullet, aluminum wheels from my 2002 Mustang GT from when I traded it in on a new 2012 Mustrang V6 with the DOHC engine. My 2012 also has 17" mag wheels. Question... Will the 2002 wheels fit my 2012? I really like the charcoal bullets...

They'll fit. I'm not sure how the offsets are on those but since they are stock they can't be too bad. They'll stick out closer to the fenders then your current but I think they should be good. Anyone know the offsets on those?

Just put them on and see how they look. If they stick out and you don't like it, go back

sounds like a plan...an inexpensive trial and error....without buying wheels.
if they dont work, you can always sell em on ebay or craigslist...

But the older stands had a smaller wheel well. So you'll need bigger tires than you had on the old one. I personally like a flush wheel then a wheel that comes on mine stock. Would a 19x10 fit the rear of these v6s?

Of coarse, as long as it's the right offset for our vehicles. I've got 18x10's on mine +45 offset and it's just about perfect.

I recall that if I had used 2005 and up, stock, Ford Mustang wheels on my 2002 'stang that I would have been required to use longer wheel studs and spacers between the wheel and the hub...or use wheel adaptors which would bolt to the hubs and create the correct offset for the 2005+ wheels. SO..the 2005+ wheels have less offset that the 2004- wheels right?

I purchased my 2004 Charcoal GT Bullets, off of e-bay for my 2002 GT so I would not have to go through all that jazz and they worked fine with no mods....so the 2005+ wheels have LESS offset than the 2004- wheels have?

I wanted to mount up some new soft, Summertime only, "stickys," on the 2004- charcoal bullets but now I dunno..... Hmmmmm.... What to do?

Looks like the 2004- wheels would stick out of the wheel wells to far... I will have to diddle with them and see...
