Ecently got in a wreck and the guy at the dealership said it would cost an extra two hundred and fifty dollars for the gt bumper over the price of the v6 is this right?

No. Late model restoration has one and it's 360 something. The v6 is 325. It's just a little more. Not even 100. But you got to get the grille, lower valence and have it painted.

Re: Gt bumper cost?

when i briefly looked at the GT Front Bumper Cover for my v6 i think it was around $330 unpainted. So if your mechanic is going to install and match paint i think that probably sounds about right. not sure how much the regular v6 bumper is however

It's not bad. I gotta pay out of pocket anyway to get it fixed so might as well go GT so I have more options.

Odd, but they have the GT bumper painted w/ grille and fogs for $380. Which is cheaper then just the bumper??

What about shipping? Does one cost a ridiculous amount more than the other to ship?

It is not an OEM part. Dollar for dollar the OEM is not much more but the brackets are slightly more. I found that out upon further inspection. I was surprised.

You have to be careful one has the appearance pkg the other does not is my guess. NTO is a little different but great company to do business with.

LRS has a good product you really can't tell the difference. It's like Brand .vs. Generic.
