bad sounds from the suspension

Well I knew my unusual good luck wouldn't last the whole year. There is an awful sound coming from the front passenger wheel. I've heard this sound before, on my 97 caddy. It sounds like a strut going bad! On a 7000 mile car!?!?!?! I HAVE to go to St. Louis tomorrow but as soon as Monday comes around I'm going to ford and having them check it over head to toe. I have a bumper to bumper and I'm gonna use it! I'm also using the time to go check out the Nissan dealer down the street with my buddy who is looking at a 1990 TT 300zx that they are selling... hopefully by Monday afternoon I will have a new suspension and my buddy will have a new car!

Either your LCAB or if you lowered the car, you will need some beefier strut mounts. Please let us know what it is.

Fultonboy, have you changed the springs or shocks on the car?

Re: bad sounds from the suspension

I had the same exact issue about a month ago. Took it to my dealer, explained the issue and eventually they replaced both LCAs. Now it doesn't make any noises when going over bumps (creaking) or when it gets hot outside. Part number for the LCAs: CR3Z-3078-B and CR3Z-3079-B

There is a service bulletin out on LCA's. The dealer will replace them under the warranty.
