Thanks for the compliments. Going to look into getting a black dash kit so I can get rid of the gray.

I used a "red" gloss paint from home depot. It was as close to my color as I could get. I don't remember the name of the brand, I'll have to check when I get home today.

Wow... That looks really good. Almost makes me wish I got a bright color instead of SG. But I like the glossy black idea....

I like that idea. I'm gonna get black pieces for the dash eventually so there's no more gray. FYI: The center vent, isn't really held on but with small tape, so I recommend just gluing it. I'll glue mine once I replace the dash panels.

Yes, about 20 very small clips that don't hold very well once you pull it off. And I think it was 4 very small pieces of tape. So like I said, some sort of glue might not seem like a bad idea.

You said you werent totatlly happy with it. I can tell by looking at the shifter it's the wrong kind of paint. You can get the finish to come out much better by getting paint meant for interiors, check out S.E.M. Red interior satin paint.

Paint the panels black?

And I painted the shifter a different way. Cause I didn't wanna spray paint in the car, so I sprayed into a can and hand painted. That's why it looks differently. So I'm currently in the process of removing the shifter paint and fixing it. Just takes time.

Try to grab the paint from the web first. If you want to paint it black, the color you are looking for is landau black by SEM

Here you go: http://www.tcpglobal.com/autobodydep...Fcua7QodDg6IiA

tcpglobal.com. Is the place to get it from. It works out to $6-$8 per can with free shipping. They offer a few different shades of red, one will be close to what you are looking for. The stuff if awesome, extrmely durable and leaves a clean finish when done right. It's what I used on my tri-bar emblems. Let me know if you grab some, I will give you step by step instructions on how to apply it for a great finish, it's easy to use.
