I blame Monday's. You gotta think also what of that guy was having a bad day and did that. Because that's one bad thing of having humans assemble things. But the quality is better and to know it was made the Merican way

Re: She finally arrived!

I'm really proud it's made in the USA. Things happen, not everyone is perfect. Actually, every car I've purchased has been made in the US. My Grand Prix's were both made in the Kansas GM plant. I can't remember which, but my Malibu was made in a US GM Plant. Now the Mustang, from the Flat Rock plant in MI.

They sell the kits on AM, but I would bring it to a professional 3m installer, if you google it you can find one once you get back to the USA. I couldn't do a good a job as they did and they cut everything themselves. If you have a 3m installer do it you get a 5 year warranty

Okay thanks! I'll have to see if maybe they have an installer out here. Maybe it isn't too expensive. I'm about to get her painted so I wanna protect the paint!!

It can also be called stone shield or stone guard. I guess if there is any chips existing in the paint it is not a good idea to do this as it will leave an air pocket and magnify the chip. Its really meant to be done on fresh paint.

Not meaning to hijack but this should be a must for those who buy brand new cars. Stone chips are inevitable.

Yeah that's why I wanna do it right after she gets painted! They are going to fix the paint where the chip is.
